Originally a request made on the SWAG forums [link] in September 2003.

Toba Dunn, a Gungan Force Adept communes with the force on a sacred site of exceptional power deep in the mangroves of Naboo.

This piece was inspired by the concept work of Brian Froud for the race of 'Mystics' in the film, 'Dark Crystal'.
I had originally intended to colour this, but got carried away with the pencils, though I may comeback to colour it later.

I like the idea of making less comical gungans. The Clone Wars tv series did have that purple female gungan herder, who was actually quite smart.

The Gungans as a whole are a very Intelligent species, they built a entire civilization with advanced biotech. Jar Jar on the other hand....
